Mission Statement

New YorkCommunity Media Alliance's mission is to amplify the power of independent publications as to foster a more just, open and democratic society. We serve independently owned and run, "mission-driven" publications—magazines, newspapers and websites that promote the public interest in political, social and cultural diversity and richness.
