I must admit that when it was announced that Jaimie-Lynn Spears was pregnant, I was not prepared for the amount of coverage the media gave this news. But let us remember that in the world where we live, teenage pregnancies are not new news. In New York City the rate of pregnancies and births among adolescents is higher than the state and national averages; the Bronx has the highest rate, followed by Brooklyn. more>
