Undocumented immigrants suffer from lack of medical assistance
Each year, millions of immigrants need medical assistance, and many have no medical insurance. Not having medical insurance in this country can result in big and permanent problems, especially for people who suffer from chronic illness.
VIDEO :: President Obama reiterated in August that undocumented immigrants are not eligible for health care benefits under the proposed health care bills and indicates that a "basic standard of decency" is why they are treated in hospital emergency rooms.
