Last Saturday afternoon, a group of protestors gathered outside the Israeli Consulate in New York as another group simultaneously protested in Tel Aviv. Among the New York protesters was Udi Eloni, the son of [Israeli human rights activist] Shulamit Eloni. more>
At the Israeli Day parade, 51st Street was blocked by rows of children dressed in identical yellow shirts with Stars of David on them. It was heartwarming. Fifty-second Street was blocked by a huge group of Harley Davidson riders with Israeli flags on the backs of their bikes. It was a nice touch. more>
