Bill would ban loitering in internet cafes during school hours

Principal Joseph Cantara recently discovered that many of his students were cutting classes to hang out in nearby Internet cafes. He sent a letter to café owners asking them to control the situation, but received no response. Since then, Councilman John Liu drafted a bill which would require owners to pay fines if any students are caught in their establishments during school hours. more>
